24 nationalités réunies pour la recherche et le développement en situation de diversité

Ayant débuté l’année passée, la rentrée académique 2008/09 présente la seconde année du bi-annuel Master “Learning and Development in Multicultural and Multilingual Contexts” lors de l’inauguration officielle le 9 octobre prochain au Campus de Walferdange.
Après une sélection laborieuse, plus de 200 pré-inscriptions, le Master trilingue accueillera 34 nouveaux candidats de 24 nationalités différentes à profil bi-/pluri-lingue en première année d’études 2008/09. Ce deuxième groupe admis au MA multi-LEARN depuis sa création met en œuvre le programme du Master qui non seulement traite des mais rend possible les processus d’apprentissage et de développement en contextes plurilingues et multiculturels au niveau de l’éducation supérieur et de la recherche. 22 femmes et 14 homes, de 22 à 63 ans et de profils variés, suivront cette formation qui place l’analyse, la gestion et l’utilisation bénéfiques des ressources humaines de nos sociétés du 21eme siècle au centre de son projet scientifique.

Ainsi, cette deuxième promotion d’admission retrouvera la vingtaine d’étudiants qui avaient été sélectionnés pour constituer ce programme novateur lors de son lancement l’année passée. Représentant un domaine qui lui tient a cœur, le Master multi-LEARN connaît un succès d’envergure mondiale provenant de la jeune Université du Luxembourg. Fort de leurs expériences passées durant la première année d’études, les “multi-LEARNers” de deuxième année ouvriront l’année académique 2008/09 – mentoring, stage développemental, classes internationales de Master, conférence académique, présentations de poster scientifique, recherches au cœur du sujet en poche.Suite aux premières heures de cours de la rentrée, le Master “Learning and Development in Multilingual and Multicultural Contexts” ouvre ses portes le 9 Octobre, à 19h, au Campus des Sciences humaines à Walferdange pour permettre l’échange, la mise en contact et – pour les nouvaux arrivés – la première prise de vue de ce que la vie scientifique-éducative au cœur du plurilinguisme et du pluriculturalisme veut dire.
En présence du vice-recteur académique, le Prof. Lucien Kerger, du doyen de la FLSHASE le Prof. Michel Margue et d’autres invités d’honneurs, soutenant le projet de recherche-formation, le programme d’études accueillera les multi-LEARNers et toute personne intéressée à découvrir le Master Learning and Développement in Multilingual and Multicultural Contexts

Héctor del Castillo and Ana B. García-Varela will talk about “A journey through art: Analysing children’s interpretations of art” on June 17, 2008, at 5:30 p.m.

Mr. Castillo and Ms. García-Varela are senior researchers & assistant professors at Universidad de Alcalá (Spain) – Developmental Psychology and Education, Culture, Technology and New Literacies Research Group (GIPI).

They will present a research and educational project in which they explore how artistic education contributes to the education of children as citizens and creative individuals, who approach the world via different languages and discourses that allow them to elaborate multiple ways of looking at it, as well as to generate new interpretations, values and ideas in their everyday life.
