Dr. Valsiner won the Alexander-von-Humboldt Research Prize in Germany in 1995, and is affiliated with research groups in Brazil, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Australia and Estonia.</p></div>

<h3><strong>Abstract</strong></h3>
<p>Die sozialen und kulturellen Grundlagen, auf denen die traditionelle indische Pädagogik beruht, wer¬den anhand der spezifisch indischen Beziehungsform “Guru-Shishya-Parampara” (Meister-Schüler-Verhältnis) beleuchtet. Ausschnitte des Dokumentarfilms “Be a Medium. Teaching and Learning Indian Classical Musik” von Ronald Kurt geben einen Einblick in die Ästhetik, die soziale Praxis und die Kulturbedeutung der klassischen nordindischen Musik und bringen uns die indische Musikauffassung näher.</p>
