Thank you for your interest in the MA programme. We are glad you are interested in the programme. We welcome you application! In this case you are required to go through the two steps of the application procedure, one after the other, as specified below, that is 1) administrative pre-inscription and 2) scientific/pedagogical application.
Please observe the schedule and the deadlines specified below. However, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any reasonable problem in respecting these deadlines if your case is not a standard one.
1) Administrative Admission
The administrative admission at the University of Luxembourg is centralised and managed by the office of student affairs (SEVE) . Please read carefully the information given by the SEVE on the procedures to be followed and be aware that the formal requirements for EU et non-EU residents differ. The dossier you have to send to the SEVE is your administrative dossier upon which the formal admissibility check will be based (i.e. whether you fulfill fully or partly the formal admission requirements).
2) Scientific/pedagogical Application
When your administrative admission as specified by the SEVE has been accomplished the scientific/pedagogical application begins. A password and instructions how to upload your electronic application documents will be sent to you by e-mail by the coordinator of the MA programme. Please read very carefully the scientific/pedagogical application requirements compiled in a pdf-document which will be send to you, read ti carefully before preparing your scientific/pedagogical application. A general information will be made available here once application is open (Application Requirements). Please be aware that the scientific/pedagogical application is your application dossier on which the scientific and pedagogical selection of the candidates admitted is based upon.

Further Information on the Two Steps of the Registration
The administrative dossier does not coincide with the application dossier. The first one is on paper and to be sent by ordinary mail, the second one is electronic and to uploaded on a secured password-protected website. The first one goes to the SEVE, the second one to the director and the committee of the MA programme. There is information to be compiled for the administrative dossier and not for the application dossier and the other way round – and there are some documents asked for in both dossiers (e.g. the CV and your language proficiency). For information or for documents required in both dossiers you can choose a concise, purely formal version for the administrative dossier and an extended version (as informative as possible) for the application dossier. If you prefer you can make use of the extended documents for both dossiers.
