SUMMARY:Goûter-débat “Être dans un nouvel environnement”
DESCRIPTION:As an activity of project LEILU\, developed within the initiative mateneen financed by the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte\, multi-LEARN Institute welcomed interested parties to join a “High Tea Debate” around the topic of refugee integration in the European host societies. The event took place on 3 May\, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm at Centre sociétaire de Bonnevoie (Room 1)\, 2 rue des Ardennes\, L-1133 Luxembourg. \nFollowing a brief presentation of the LEILU project outcomes and recommendations\, the participants\, together with the guest speaker Mr. Christian Linker\, critical writer and author of Der Schuss (2017) and Dschihad Calling (2017) addressed issues often perceived as controversial and pertaining to belonging\, addressing acceptance by the host society\, possible radicalisation attitudes of newcomers and local residents\, and the positioning and visibility of religious expressions in the public space. \nThe event\, supported by Deutscher Verein Luxemburg\, was followed by tea time for convivial exchanges. Translations to and from German\, English and French were offered. \n  \nNotre goûter-débat LEILU sur le thème de l’intégration des réfugiés dans les sociétés d’accueil européennes s’est tenu le 3 mai 2018\, au Centre sociétaire de Bonnevoie. Il était conçu comme un moment de réflexion/interaction\, de proximité et de convivialité. \nAprès avoir présenté un bilan des activités du projet et ses recommandations\, Gudrun Ziegler\, la présidente du multi-LEARN institute\, et notre invité\, Christian Linker\, écrivain\, auteur de Der Schuss (2017) et Dschihad Calling (2017)\, ont échangé librement autour des questions parfois controversées de l’appartenance\, notamment de sa composante spirituelle\, et de la radicalisation des comportements et des attitudes\, aussi bien des arrivants que des sociétés hôtes. \nNotre goûter-débat s’est achevé dans la bonne humeur autour d’un plateau fromages\, réunissant toutes les personnes présentes. Une occasion de prolonger agréablement les échanges et de se donner rendez-vous\, très prochainement\, pour un LEILU 2.0 et de nouvelles activités. \nOutre l’auteur Christian Linker\, nous remercions l’Entente des Sociétés de Bonnevoie d’avoir mis à notre disposition deux salles\, à cette occasion\, et également toutes les personnes sur place qui ont contribué à la réussite de notre événement. \nNous remercions également Karin Weyer\, du Centre contre la radicalisation (www.respect.lu) pour sa présence.
